T-BARRIER COLLAGEN MEMBRANE
T-BARRIER COLLAGEN MEMBRANES are made from type-1 native heterologous equine collagen, which ensures perfect biocompatibility and complete resorption. They are indicated for guided tissue regeneration procedures and are applied to enhance the healing of operation sites .
Collagen membranes have important hemostatic, chemotactic, angiogenic, and osteoblastic properties that promote tissue regeneration. Collagen induces the differentiation of mesenchymal stem cells and increases the proliferation of osteoblasts. The membranes are easy to handle and apply on defect sites, where they exhibit anti-inflammatory, eutrophic, and healing properties. They also stimulate guided formation and growth of new bone, thanks to their osteoconductive and osteoinductive actions. These membranes are totally absorbed after 4 to 6 months and perfect biocompatibility and tolerance is guaranteed.
In oral surgery they are used for containment of heterologous and autologous graft materials. In periodontics they help to reverse soft tissue recession. In implantology they serve to protect the sinus membrane before the insertion of graft materials.
Each box contains two membranes.
